- I took this photo because it is a well-known landmark of London. From the very top of the London Eye we had a stunning view of this magnificent city. We saw the river Thames, the Houses of Parliament with its famous Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and other sites.
- As my friend has never been to London, I decided to show him this picture and to share all my impressions of this terrific flight with him.

Как видно из приведенных ответов, вам понадобятся не только знания языка, но, возможно, и жизненный опыт. В случае если такового не окажется, что мало вероятно, воспользуйтесь своими знаниями из других предметов, например, истории, географии, литературы или искусства.

2) Отвечая на вопрос плана “when you took the photo”, используйте Past Simple Tense (простое прошедшее время). Помните, что вы были фотографом , а поэтому (ну, конечно, если это не селфи) вам нужно описать людей на вашем фото (родственников, друзей, знакомых или незнакомых вам людей), а не себя любимого.
e. g. I took this photo two months ago when I went to Paris to study French.
3) Придерживайтесь заданной темы высказывания. Для этого внимательно ознакомьтесь с заданием. Например: Imagine that you are preparing a presentation about London (Russia) или Imagine that you are preparing a school newspaper about Art.
4) Отвечая на вопрос плана “what/who is in the photo”, постарайтесь описать не только внешний вид человека, но и, предположительно, его настроение (грустный – sad, счастливый – happy, серьезный – serious, злой – angry). Обратите внимание на погодные условия на фото (солнечный – sunny, жаркий – hot, теплый – warm, пасмурный – gloomy , дождливый – rainy, холодный – cold, морозный – frosty день). Назовите время года (месяц), когда вы сделали снимок.
5) Как видно вопрос What is happening in the picture? стоит в Present Progressive Tense, поэтому при описании происходящих событий на фотографии, используйте также глаголы в форме настоящего длительного времени, подкрепляя свой ответ фразой At this particular moment… (именно в этот момент…). Так же вы можете продолжить свое повествование в Past Simple Tense.
6) Продумайте несколько вариантов ответов на вопрос “why you took this photo”: I took this photo to remember the best moments and places of my journey. / I think this picture will remind me about my new foreign friends I met during my visit to Scotland (Italy, Egypt etc) and wonderful days we spent together.
7) Помните, ваше описание не должно быть слишком детальным, потому что вы можете не уложиться в отведенное для ответа время. В процессе подготовки записывайте свои ответы, а затем проговаривайте их, используя таймер. They have a long neck and short stout legs with webbed feet. The tail is short and square. They have pale plumage with some grey feathers on the wings.
- On the left of the picture there is a pond where the birds can swim. The zoo keeper told us a lot of interesting things about pelicans. She explained us that some species could make their nests in the trees while the others nest on the ground. It was interesting to know that they can fly but cannot dive because of their light skeleton. I also learnt that pelicans live up to 25 years in the wild and up to 40 years in captivity. But the most amazing fact is that pelicans never store their food in their throat pouch contrary to popular folklore. They use it for catching fish.

Let me start with the first picture which shows a little girl who is in the gym at the moment. The girl is going to play table tennis because she is carrying a red tennis racket in her hand. As we can see the gym is well equipped. In the middle of the gym there is a big blue table with a tennis net on it. In the background of the picture you can see some sports facilities such as flying rings, a gymstick, a rope, a hoop and others. All in all, it seems to me that the gym is quite large and light.
As for the second picture it shows a young man running in the field. It might be summer time because he is wearing a green t-shirt, black shorts and white sports shoes. Also, he is wearing a watch on his wrist for timing his heats. Though the sky is blue and the weather is warm and sunny you can see two mountain peaks covered with snow in the background of the picture.
As I"ve already mentioned both pictures are connected with doing sports. You can"t but agree with me that both - a girl and a young man look fit and healthy.
Obviously, we can see certain (some) differences. The first picture shows a little girl whose hobby is playing tennis. On the contrary, the man in the second picture is a professional sportsman as he looks very sporty and strong. Besides, the first picture shows the girl who is playing tennis indoors while the young man is going in for sports in the open air . Moreover, table tennis is a team game and you need at least one more person to play it with. As to the track-and- field athletics, you can do it on your own.
As for me, I"d prefer to take up to table tennis because I am fond of doing sports with my best friends or relatives. Secondly , this game develops quick thinking and reaction. Finally , you can do it outdoors as well as indoors and bad weather cannot spoil the pleasure.
In conclusion, I would like to say that both pictures make me think that sport is a great way to spend your free time and, of course, it is useful for your health.

I believe that the theme which relates these photos is a life style of the youth.
Let me start with the first picture that shows a group of young people who are at work now. The man on the right and a young woman in a black suit are sitting around the table while the woman in a beautiful white suit is standing at the moment. Unfortunately, I can’t see the face of their boss who is giving them some instructions. They are listening to him very attentively. It looks as if they are ready to make some notes because you can see pads (notebooks) in front of them.
As for the second picture I have the impression that the group of young people is enjoying their free time sitting on the grass. I can only guess that they might be co-students at the international language school because you can see them carrying their workbooks. They are probably having their break time now. As the weather is warm and sunny, they decided to spend it in the school yard. They all are smiling and look very happy so I think they did their test successfully.
I should say that the only similarity between picture 1 and picture 2 is that they depict young people who are practically of the same age.
One of the main differences between pictures is that in the left picture you can see two men and two women (four people) working in the office, whereas in the right picture there are two girls and a boy who are having a rest in the open air. The most obvious difference for me between these two pictures is people’s clothes. For example, people in the first picture are wearing suits according to the dress code of their firm, while people in the right picture are wearing casual clothes such as jeans, jumpers and trainers.
As for me, I would rather go to a language school because my dream is to speak English fluently. Moreover, it would be interesting to make some new friends from abroad.
To sum it up, I would like to say that to work or to study together with smart and intelligent people is always great pleasure.

Let me start with the first picture which shows a young girl who is performing on the stage at the moment. She is wearing a white blouse and a dark skirt. She is playing the grand piano together with a string orchestra. In the background of the picture there is a beautiful organ . In the foreground of the picture you can see a lot of spectators. That’s why I can say that music is not just her hobby but she is involved in it very seriously.
As for the second picture it also shows a young girl playing the piano. She looks very elegant in her black velvet dress. As you can see she is wearing glasses. In the background of the picture you can see a portrait of a famous composer. Unfortunately I’m not very good at classical music that’s why I don’t know his name. Under the portrait there is a basket of lovely roses, so I can only guess that it might be the anniversary of the composer.
As I have already mentioned the theme which relates both pictures is classical music . The most obvious similarity between photo 1 and photo 2 is the musical instrument the girls are playing and it is a piano. It is evident that the girls are practically of the same age. In my opinion, they might be very talented.
You can’t but agree with me that the main difference between picture 1 and picture 2 is that the girl in the first picture is performing in a big concert hall whereas the girl in the second picture is playing the piano in a small room.(It is probably the classroom in a local Art School.) Besides , the girls are wearing different items of clothes. Last but not least , in the first picture you can see a lot of audience while in the second picture we cannot see any listeners.
As for me, I would rather go to a big concert hall because I’ve always wanted to listen to the organ.
Summarizing, I may say that it is great to have a good ear for music and play a musical instrument because music always makes your life brighter. (23)

Здравствуйте, коллеги!
Сегодня пост для вас и для тех, кто готовит своих учеников к ЕГЭ по устной части, а именно к заданию С5 (описание картинки) или №3 (никак не могу привыкнуть к новому обозначению). В принципе, сейчас в ОГЭ тоже ввели нововведения по устной части и этот материал будет полезен также при подготовке к нему.
В этой статье я хочу рассказать, как я готовлю своих учеников к этому заданию, какие фразы мы используем.
Понимаю, что каждый учитель (репетитор) готовит своим способом, поэтому просто делюсь, как делаю это я.
Демонстрационный вариант ЕГЭ Говорение 2016 показал, что есть небольшие изменения в формулировке задания, а именно сегодня мы рассмотрим задание №3 (описание картинки)
Task 3.Imagine that these are photos from your photo album. Choose one photo to present to your friend.
You will have to start speaking in 1.5 minutes and will speak for not more than 2 minutes (12–15 sentences). In your talk remember to speak about:

Как видим, появился дополнительный вопрос where? в первом пункте и 4-ый пункт изменился в формулировке. Конечно, это не меняет погоды, но всё же учеников нужно ознакомить с этим, особенно если вы уже готовились по старым образцам.

Совсем слабым ученикам я предлагаю выучить этот шаблон и выбирать картинку ту, где изображены несколько людей, например, счастливая семья или мужчина с женщиной или что-то подобное. Очень вероятно, что будет такая картинка из трёх.
Этот вариант подходит для тех детей, кто с устной частью не очень хорошо ладит или вы видите, что не успеваете готовить ученика более тщательно.
Ниже я привожу вам пример одного из описаний картинки, с учетом моего шаблона. Основа текста взята

In the foreground of the picture you can see my brother Maxim, his wife Julia and their daughter Anna. You can’t see me because I’m taking the photo. They are sitting on a comfortable white sofa in the living room. They are very happy because at last their dream came true.
In the background of the picture there is a white bookcase with open shelves. I like their decision to furnish the room in white colour because it makes the room look wider. As my brother works as a journalist for a local newspaper you can see a lot of books and magazines on the shelves.
I keep this photo in my album because looking at this photo makes me go back in that time. Moreover, I used this photo for my school project called “My Family Tree”.
I decided to show this photo to you because it carries pleasant memories.

Помогает мне в подготовке своих учеников к устной части книга М.А. Бодоньи «Подготовка к ЕГЭ: устная часть. Задания по новой демоверсии на 2015 год».
Мне кажется, каждый учитель должен ознакомиться с ней, там даны очень интересные советы, правила и авторская методика по развитию и активизации умений устной речи.
В общем, не нужно переживать по поводу описания картинок. Тут, главное, тренировка! Описав с десяток картинок, я думаю, дети наши будут намного увереннее себя вести!
Устная часть ЕГЭ по английскому языку проводится отдельно от письменной в специально отведенный день. Тестирование проходит без участия экзаменаторов: ответы сохраняются в компьютере, затем записи прослушивают эксперты. Испытание состоит из четырех заданий, каждое из которых выдается после завершения предыдущего. На выполнение всего устного блока отводится 15 минут, время подсчитывается автоматически - таймер виден на экране компьютера.
Структура устной части экзамена
Задание №1
Экзаменуемому предлагается прочитать вслух текст научно-популярной тематики, который состоит из 150-160 слов. На подготовку и ответ отводится по 1,5 минуты. Текст должен быть озвучен со средней скоростью, без длинных пауз, громко и четко. Участник испытания может сделать до пяти фонетических ошибок, среди которых допускается не более одной-двух, искажающих смысл слов. Максимум за выполнение первого задания - 1 балл.
Даже если не вся лексика знакома, не надо паниковать - на это просто нет времени. Продуктивнее вспомнить общие правила чтения и произнести слово по стандартной фонетической модели - с вероятностью 99,9 % вы угадаете.
В статье могут присутствовать незнакомые слова-исключения со сложным произношением. Пугаться не стоит - вряд ли их будет больше пяти, значит, есть шанс не превысить лимит ошибок.
Вероятные трудности: большинство учеников допускает ошибки из-за недостаточной концентрации внимания. Сложности вызывает и довольно высокая скорость чтения, которая требуется, чтобы уложиться в полторы минуты. Чтобы потренироваться, во время подготовки к устной части ЕГЭ с секундомером в руках читайте тексты объемом 150-160 слов, делайте записи на диктофон/смартфон, потом прослушивайте их и критически оценивайте свои результаты.
Задание №2
Экзаменуемому предлагается за полторы минуты задать пять вопросов по теме рекламного объявления о путешествиях, спортивных событиях и т. д. Придумывать, о чем спрашивать, не надо: в задании даются ключевые слова, с каждым из них надо составить вопрос, соотносящийся с изображением и обозначенной тематикой. За грамматически правильно выстроенный вопрос дается один балл, соответственно, за всё второе задание максимально можно получить 5.
Чтобы справиться с заданием, освежите в памяти правила составления прямых вопросов - именно такой тип должен быть использван при его выполнении.
Вероятные трудности: есть риск составить вопрос, ответ на который будет неинформативен. Задача экзаменующегося - получить конкретные сведения по теме объявления (сколько стоит? где находится? и т. д.). Исходя из нее и надо формулировать вопросы.
Задание №3
Описание фотографий. На выбор предлагается три снимка со схожей тематикой, надо описать один из них строго по предоставленному плану:
- Когда был сделан снимок.
- Кто изображен на фотографии.
- Что происходит на снимке.
- Для чего/почему вы сделали это фото.
- Почему вы решили показать фото своему другу.
На подготовку ответа дается 1,5 минуты, на его озвучивание - 2 минуты. По каждому пункту плана нужно придумать не менее трех предложений (описание на максимальную оценку должно состоять из 12-15 фраз). При соблюдении всех требований экзаменуемый может заработать 7 баллов.
Вероятные трудности: Должен получиться связный рассказ со вступительной и заключительной фразами. Они могут быть совершенно простыми (вроде "посмотри на этот снимок из моего фотоальбома"), но их наличие в описании обязательно. Поэтому заранее подготовьте универсальные вводные и связующие конструкции и заучите их до автоматизма.
И не забудьте назвать номер снимка, который описываете, и кликнуть на соответствующую цифру в зеленом поле под изображением.
Иначе получится так, как если бы вы на письменном экзамене перепутали поля для ответов в бланках - разбираться никто не будет.
Задание №4
Сравнение фотографий. Участнику устной части ЕГЭ по английскому предлагаются два, на первый взгляд, совершенно разных снимка. К примеру, на одном фото может изображаться ребенок на летнем лугу, на другом - дети, которые с энтузиазмом лепят снеговика. Задача экзаменующегося состоит в том, чтобы быстро найти то, что все-таки объединяет предложенные изображения, и с опорой на "общее звено" сравнить две фотографии. Ответ должен строиться строго по плану задания, на каждый пункт которого надо придумать не меньше трех предложений.
Чтобы получить максимальные 7 баллов, надо составить логичное, завершенное высказывание, отражающее все пять аспектов плана.
Вероятные трудности: сложно понять, о чем вообще надо говорить. Проблема решается просто: подсказка всегда содержится в четвертом пункте плана. Например, если сказано: say which of the seasons presented in the pictures you preferred as a child (к заданию с фотографиями детей на лугу и со снеговиком), то ориентиром послужит ключевое слово child, и рассказывать надо о том, что вам в детстве нравилось больше: зима или лето и почему.
Понятно, что общее у этих фотографий с играющим джаз-бандом и юным пианистом - музыка, отличие - ее стиль. В каком именно направлении двигаться для сравнения, подскажет пункт № 4 в плане. Расскажите, что вам больше нравится: классика и Бетховен или импровизация и Луи Армстронг. Это и будет причиной выбора в пользу вида концерта.
В 2015 году впервые на ЕГЭ по английскому языку была введена устная часть. Как подготовиться к говорению и набрать максимальное количество баллов, если до экзамена осталось так мало времени? Во-первых, успокоиться и понять, что это вполне выполнимая задача. А во-вторых, ознакомиться со структурой этой части экзамена и следовать нижеупомянутым советам.
Готовимся к ЕГЭ вместе!
Итак, устная часть экзамена по английскому языку состоит из 4 заданий.
Общее время ответа одного экзаменуемого (включая время на подготовку) — 15 минут.
Максимальный балл за выполнение устной части ЕГЭ по английскому языку — 20 баллов.
Это компьютеризированная часть экзамена. Во время ответа ведется аудио- и видеозапись.
После выполнения всех заданий убедитесь, что аудиозапись вашего ответа выполнена в высоком формате (нет шумовых помех, уровень звука достаточный для восприятия вашего ответа экзаменатором). Если качество звука вас не удовлетворяет — звук отсутствует полностью или частично, либо запись сделана очень тихо, что затрудняет ее восприятие — вы должны потребовать пересдачи устной части экзамена!!!
Устная и письменная части экзамена проводятся в разные дни согласно утвержденного расписания.
Устная часть ЕГЭ по английскому языку не была обязательной в 2015 году. И если ученик принимал решение не сдавать говорение, то автоматически уменьшал общий результат на 20 баллов (100 — 20 = 80 баллов). Мои учащиеся сдали устную часть в 2015 году с результатом 19 и 16 баллов. Хочу отметить, что 16 баллов ученица получила не потому, что не хватило знаний, а потому, что ответ был слишком длинным и время записи истекло. Поэтому во время подготовки к экзамену, вырабатывайте чувство времени!

Задание 1

Какой навык тестируется:
фонетическая сторона речи (произношение английских звуков, интонационное оформление предложений) и техника чтения (понимание чтения гласных и согласных букв английского языка).
Критерии оценивания
1 балл вы получите, если ваша речь воспринимается легко: необоснованные паузы отсутствуют, фразовое ударение и интонационные контуры соблюдаются, произношение слов без нарушений нормы: допускается не более пяти фонетических ошибок , в том числе, одна-две ошибки, искажающие смысл.
0 баллов учащийся получит, если его речь воспринимается с трудом из-за большого количества неестественных пауз, запинок, неверной расстановки ударений и ошибок в произношении слов ИЛИ сделано более пяти (5) фонетических ошибок, искажающих смысл ИЛИ сделано три и более фонетические ошибки, искажающие смысл.
По мнению экспертов ЕГЭ к типичным ошибкам относятся:
— неправильное деление на смысловые синтагмы простых и сложных предложений
— неправильное чтение синтагм с перечислением (нужно читать их с восходящей интонацией)
— неправильная интонация предложений с нисходящим тоном
— неправильное произношение безударных слогов (отсутствие редукции)
— неправильное чтение слов с долгими и краткими гласными, которые влияют на изменение лексического значения слова: least – list , leave – live , port – pot
— неправильное чтение слов с глухими и звонкими согласными в конце слова, которые меняют значение слова: bad – bat , food – foot
— неправильное чтение слов, в которых буквы пишутся, но не читаются: ballet , thist le, w hole, musc les
— неправильное произношение звуков, типичных для английского языка, подмена их произношения на русские звуки: [θ] — [ð], [w], [h], [ŋ], [ɜ:]
Перед тем, как приступить к выполнению задания 1 устной части ЕГЭ по английскому языку,
советую повторить « » и « ».
Задание 1
Представьте, что вы с другом готовите школьный проект. Вы нашли интересный материал для презентации и хотите прочитать его вашему другу. У вас есть 1.5 минуты на подготовку (чтение про себя) и 1.5 минуты на выполнение этого задания (чтение вслух).

Half the human beings who have ever died, perhaps as many as 45 billion people, have been killed by female mosquitoes. Mosquitoes carry more than a hundred potentially fatal diseases including malaria, yellow fever and elephantiasis. Even today, they kill one person every twelve seconds. Amazingly, nobody had any idea that mosquitoes were dangerous until the end of the nineteenth century. In 1877, the British doctor Sir Patrick Manson proved that yellow fever was caused by mosquito bites.
Seventeen years later it occurred to him that malaria might also be caused by mosquitoes. He encouraged his pupil Ronald Ross to test the hypothesis. Ross was the first person to show how female mosquitoes transmit the parasite. Manson went one better. To show that the theory worked for humans, he infected his own son – using mosquitoes carried in the diplomatic bag from Rome.

Some paintings found in different caves around the world are recognized as the work of Stone Age artists. But what was the purpose of the paintings? Why were they hidden in a dark room where there is no evidence that cave people lived?
No one really knows, but there is one theory that makes great sense. It is called the theory of Sympathetic Magic. According to this, the cave people believed that if they could make a likeness of an animal, they could put a spell over it. This spell would give the tribe power over the live animal.
Stone Age existence depended on killing animals — for food, clothing, and even weapons and tools. The animals were large and fierce; the cave people had only the most simple weapons. Hunters had to be brave and fearless. They needed more than a spear or club; they needed all the magic they could get. The magic could help the hunters catch the animals.

Mountain gorillas live in the dense forests of Central Africa and are one of man"s closest relations in the animal kingdom. They live in family groups and spend the day eating plants. Every evening each gorilla builds a nest to sleep in.
Mountain gorillas are black, and have evolved very thick fur so that they can withstand the cold mountain air. An adult male is called a silver back because of the silver-grey fur that grows on its back when it reaches maturity. A silverback is about the same height as an average man but heavier. Females are much smaller.
The destruction of their natural habitat is a serious threat to gorillas. Illegal hunting and trading are also a problem. Tourism helps to finance the ongoing efforts to save this endangered species. A few companies organise gorilla safaris so that people can see these amazing creatures at first hand. Some of the money from these tours goes to wild life organisations to protect the gorillas.
